A newcomer at open-space who blew us away with her beautiful and soulful singing and her do-it-yourself guitar playing so many people are afraid to do (i blame guitar hero, it's easier than that game guys! honestly). She started off with a cover of Joan Armatrading's "the weakness in me" before going on to play a song she had written about how "ex-boyfriends make you feel like shit"... i personally cant comment, never had one. considering kat claimed she couldn't really play guitar i was expecting so much worse. this was a genuinely good song that didnt just use the obvious chords you would expect. this girl definately can play guitar.
